Premier Vision
Premiere Vision is a large showroom that displays fabrics from over 700 venders from approximately 28 countries.  Showrooms are set up by each vender within a main building.  The vendors have fabrics that are to be used in future designs and apparel.  Seeing the fabrics displayed is very inspiration and will give viewers a better sense of what is to become popular.  Some vendors bring in garments made with certain fabrics so that buyers are able to better see how the fabric looks as a piece of clothing.  This is an intense business environment where thousands of buyers from all over the world come to purchase fabric.
Whose Next Prét à Porter is a showroom in Paris that displays lines of clothing.  Like AmericasMart, buyers come to the showrooms to view next season’s offerings and make purchasing decisions for their stores.  This showroom was much larger when compared to AmericasMart and many more buyers fly to the showroom in Paris.  After viewing the collection it is safe to say, count on seeing lots of orange, blue, coral, and yellow this spring.  The prairie/pheasant look will also be big and lots of sequins and bows will be incorporated into clothing.  The showroom also produced a fashion show for the buyers.  Models walked the runway in clothing that represented upcoming trends for the spring.  The enormity of showroom is sure to impress visitors as they walk around and discover the mass number of vendor’s offerings.
Galeries Lafayette
Galeries Lafayette is a large French department store.  The flagship store is located in Paris.  The department store is divided into three separate buildings.  The main building contains designer clothing for women, children, and youths.  The building also houses accessories, music, and electronics.  The store has a large selection of women’s designer clothes and accessories that are spread out over three floors within the building.  There is also a Bridal boutique and a restaurant on the top floor.  Lafayette Homme is connected to the main building and offers men’s clothing and an upper floor dedicated to gourmet food.  The gourmet food section is amazing and can be compared to La Rinascente in Milan.  The set up of the food is similar and the variety is equally impressive.  The mounds of salt, sugar, and spices/herbs are worth walking in for and a trip to this store is not complete without a tour of the gourmet sections.  Lafayette Maison is the third building located across the street and features home furnishings.
Champs-Elysees
The Champs-Elysees is a historical boulevard in Paris that once served to celebrate victorious returns of French soldiers.  Today, the Champs-Elysees is a famous avenue lined with shops, restaurants, cafes, cinemas, and more.  The shops range from H and M and Zara to the fabulous Luis Vuitton store.  Visitors can dine in fancy restaurants and enjoy delicious French cuisine or settle for a burger at Quick.  There is something on this avenue for everyone no matter their age or preferences.  At the end of the avenue, lies the Arc de Triomphe, a famous monument built by Napoleon Bonaparte to honor his victories.  This is certainly a must see location and a stroll down the avenue is highly recommended.
